for some reason, before I saw this comment, I thought it was a picture of Atlantis and I pictured you swimming through a sea of blackness and twinkling stars and you were a little anxious about dying because there were black holes all around waiting to swallow you up but you didn't really care because your eye was on the prize

hahahaha wow that is good. the picture, however, is from Lechuguilla Cave and it's super dangerous and hard to get to but maybe not as hard as Atlantis. Unfortunately, even if i were able to descend into pitchblack darkness for 8 hours and then hike up for another 6 hours and squeeze into super cramped tunnels that only fits one a person at a time, i still wouldn't be able to go because the cave is protected by the government. to see more of it get the Planet Earth Disc 2, and watch the Diary part, because even for the Planet Earth people it took them 2 years to get the approval.

this picture isn't even all of it, there's a part of the cave called the "Crystal Ballroom!" Imagine!
