There are a few things that I am amazed by, some of which are:
1. Architecture, in particular that of older periods
2. Lighthouses
3. Nature, waterfalls in particular
4. Brains
5. Culture and Religion
So, it came as quite a surprise when i found out today that Niagara falls is neither a) the tallest waterfall b) the largest in water quantity. Actually, Angel Falls in Venezuela is the tallest waterfall, and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe is the largest waterfall. Why is it that Niagara Falls are so 'hyped' then, and why is it that we rarely, if ever, hear about the 'more important' falls?
