In the SM company, Taemin seems to have the most silent presence. This natural thinking presence makes people feel that SHINee's Taemin is generally like that (in real life). In Korea, whether it's on variety shows or in front of the camera, that Taemin always gives people the image of being quiet. After hiding behind the backs of his hyung's, he listens to other people and accepts questions. The most he says is when greeting the media with "Hello everyone, I am SHINee's Taemin." Because he is the band's "dancing machine", whenever a sunbaenim (senior in the industry) wants to see SHINee's dancing standards, he will immediately dance well.
Upon reaching Changsha (in Hunan, China) and starting the interview, Taemin has never stopped moving for even a second. Holding hands with Onew shows their brotherly love; the two then exchange glances, faces turning red, when Taemin suddenly claps and announces, "I've won!" It dawned on everyone that they were actually arm wrestling. When Minho was having his solo shots taken, the other four stood at the back and piggy backed each other. Apart from the photographer, all other people were intently watching their piggy back game, and could sense that the three older boys were listening to Taemin's instructions. They let him jump up and down, and he fell three times, getting up every time and continuing to play. It was the same feeling as a monkey climbing up a tree. Many people will say, this child is still young, and it's quite cute seeing him being naughty. During the group interview when they were asked who would the biggest player (in relationships) in the future, all votes went to Taemin. This shows that even though this doll is naughty, he has already grown into a man!
Although Taemin is just a high school student, he is SM's dancing prince. When he debuted at 15, he already possessed amazing dancing talent, thus gaining the recognition/attention of people worldwide. Although Taemin is young, he is SHINee's dancing prince. Taemin, who has liked dancing since third grade in primary school, had the idea of becoming a singer because of watching a TV program, and even had the dream of being the world's best dancer. The best dancer in his eyes is a legend living in the same world as he does - Michael Jackson. His favorite singer is Usher. Since primary school when he was selected (to be in SM), he has always been practicing his dancing, never stopping for even a day. Taemin who is addicted to dancing has gained the recognition of many professional dance champions.

Because of their busy schedules, the members wiil constantly receive vitamins and health supplements sent by their fans. Otherwise, it would be handmade snacks and food; so when the backstage dancers see Taemin drinking milk in the practice room, they feel as if he is a child being chased by his mother to drink milk, and it seems that drinking milk has helped with his height.
