Don't Judge a Book by its cover
I feel I've made some astounding discoveries today.
1.) Don't judge a Book by its cover: An old saying but true. Sometimes first impressions may not always be correct and I want to try to look for more then what I initially see. Everyone is different and everyone is amazing and sometimes if you dont stop to look you may never find what it is that you are really supposed to see.
2.) Happiness is what you make of it: I need to get out for this slump. I need to remember the days when I was sure I had a prince waiting for me to ride off into the sunset. All relationships do not end badly and I am not going to find what I'm looking for if I'm looking in the wrong places. Maybe I don't need to look for it, if I wait patiently maybe it will fall into my lap.
3.) Patience is a virtue: Getting upset is not a solution to my loniness. Getting upset only ensures drinking alot of Starbucks and spending alot of time alone.
4.) Never frown because you never know who is falling in love with your smile: My fortune cookie from dinner. Very true, needs to be reflected upon and carried as an emblem for my amazing new year.
5.) No saying for this one btu I need to start spending time doing things that I enjoy and people I like and I will find more people I like. I think I spend alot of time doing what other people want me to becuase I can't come up with a good solution. I don't drink, people who don't drink must be somewhere, I'll find them eventaully.
6.) Ice Skating occasionally results in much pain: I went skating tonight and fell down, My knees all purple and swollen and stuff. Not really an astounding discovery but I felt like sharing.
