I just got home and turned on the TV... NOTHING
Well, not really NOTHING - there's a notice on every channel saying
Comcast
We have enhanced our network to bring you more features.
That means some channels have changed to digital format.
You must get digital equipment now on all of your TVs if you would like to continue viewing this and other channels.
Click or call. Install. That's All.
Now I cancelled my cable months ago, but I've kinda enjoyed still having a few channels so I was wondering if anyone knows (I'm too lazy to look this up and too tired to try moving things around) if one of those digital converter boxes would help? I've got one and tried to use it with an antennae unsuccessfully. What if I used it between the cable and my non-digital TV. Or is this digital format something totally different?
Is it worth the hassle of moving things around or should I just throw my cable away? (yes, no or maybe)
