My cousin, Sophia, phoned up around 6pm yesterday and said that she couldn't make it to the cinema on Sunday after all so as a last minute thing I went online and booked the tickets and we watched it last night! Lol!
It's a fantastic film!
Johnny Depp played his character so well. When I found out that he had based Jack Sparrow on Keith Richards it made so much more sense and made it all the more funnier. *laughs*
I was actually crying with laughter during the part when he had that pole tied to his back and those strange people were throwing fruit at him and it looked like a fruit kebab!! Lol! And then when he kinda catapolted himself across the ravine only to then fall in it!! *laughs hysterically*
Bill Nighy was almost unrecognisable as Davy Jones. Lol!
I saw the trailer for "Stormbreaker" too and got all excited. Sophia has just let me borrow the next two books in the Alex Rider series so I'm gonna start reading them straight away. :-)
I stayed at Sophia's house because the film didn't finish til 11:30 and we didn't get back til 12. I was absolutely shattered but as usual I couldn't sleep. *rolls eyes* In my exhausted state I mistook a bottle of body lotion for make-up remover and got it in my eyes. It stung like hell!!!
My younger cousin, India, then woke me up at 8am and got into bed with me. Lol! Then my other cousin (I have a lot of cousins haha!) Naomi came in and covered my face in barbie make-up. I wasn't too please. ;-)
I'm back at home now and trying to rest up for the Spanish party tonight. The whole house smells of spanishy food. *licks lips*
