It occurs to me that it would be handy to have a the ability to have a public post that was not visible to some of my friends (or alternatively give my friends the ability to exclude posts with certain tags from appearing on their to-read lists).
Some posts are not private, but also not relevant to all the people on my friends list. At the moment the only trivial way to prevent such posts appearing is to de-friend people.
