Lovely fic. I love the description of Nathan's vision of Peter and I'm glad someone else thinks the visions can go both ways. :D

Pure love that can never be acknowledged or acted on is the truest love either will ever know.

There is seriously nothing more true than this. *nod* And you talk about his love for Heidi and his thought process about how he cheated on her. If it wasn't for the accident, I don't think he would have cheated on her, either. It's nice to see, too, that someone else agrees on Nathan's feelings on crime. Do you think, between the accident and his father's death, he became a bit more willing bend the rules for himself? Despite his involvement with the FBI, I mean.

This is gorgeous, too, and I never thought about it as Claire killing herself before: Claire saw his mother clearly, saw who Nathan was becoming, and killed herself -- however briefly -- rather than be in the same room with them. The mirror that held up to him was uglier than the thing he saw in the mirror now. Excellent observation ( ... )

Jennifer was such a popular name for over a decade, that I'm always perplexed that it isn't used as a name in more fiction.

I don't know whether the visions/feelings could always go both ways, but I find the extended scene from Six Months Ago suggestive that it can. Nathan just waiting in the hallway while Peter goes through so much emotionally -- you can see, I think, Nathan wanting to go back for a moment ( ... )
