I have a few posts I need to put up... why don't you just put them all in one you ask... well... I like to keep my book posts separate... and maybe my picture posts as well... plus, I feel like all my thoughts shouldn't be confined to one post just because it is one day :)
Today, was boring.... at first that is... I woke up pretty late, like 11:30... yeah... my eyes were crusted and I felt so sick... (once again this sickness haunts me) SO i got up and started making some breakfast/lunch (no, not brunch, I didn't have cute finger sandwhiches or anything that remotely resembles a cute little brunch) No, I had whatever I could find but my stomach felt like it was morning so I wanted something light... i ended up with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and some chicken fingers... real light right... haha... Then my mom and I talked for a little and I watched Sydney White and my brother came home (I know, by now I feel like I'm just listing off the things I did, which yes I'm doing, but i'm getting to the interesting part of my day... not you see how mundane my morning was HA!) He realized that he hasn't gotten his permit yet (its been a year) and I've been pressuring him lately to go and get it... so, me madre, him and I went all the way to Babcock to get his permit and what does he realize when we get there? He forgot something, so we drove back and forth to get his stuff and when we got in (like 20 minutes before they closed - cutting it close right?) His number was only 620... guess what number they just called? 570... yeah... that's right, he had 50 people in front of him! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!! Now I'm hungry and bored and tired. There isn't anywhere to sit, there isn't even place to stand! It's so effing crowded.. and guess who else is there? Indians! And not just any Indian? FOBS! (I'm not sure if I have expressed my severe dislike for FOBS but I will continue this rant after I explain our wonderful adventure with the DMV) So, i run out to the car and my mom decides that we can go get something to eat whilst my loser brother waits in line (haha). We find this quaint little Mexican Restaurant not even two shops down! The food is amazing. When you first look at this place, you feel almost like you would rather just keep driving. It looks like a horribly replicated old fashioned sonic with the out door chairs and everything. When you go in, the diner feel only continues, the door doesn't stay shut and every gust of wind opens it like a ghost, the bathrooms were frightening and I swear, there was a glory hole in the wall, but what do i know... But despite all the downfalls of this little hole in the wall, the food was AMAZING! I felt like I walked into my mothers kitchen and she was trying her hand at Mexican food. The cook was willing and ready to perfect our dishes, turning a simple enchilada into a flavorful explosion in my mouth. Our waitress, though only able to speak a few words in English, went out of her way to help us in every way! My brother calls us in between our first couple of bites and freaks us out like he needs us there right away... So, these great people tell us we can go and come back. We left our food, covered and in their good graces. Of course, when we got down the street to the DMV, there were still like 20 people in front of my brother, we argued, but whats new. So, my mom sent me back to the restaurant and she stayed with my brother, only to walk back to the restaurant later. I sat alone in the restaurant reading my book, and the waitress offered to heat up my food and she gave me a free drink. The friendliest people ever, I definetly want to go back! So that was my exciting night, and I realized I never even got a picture... how sad.. the one time I didn't take my camera...
Okay... so for my pictures of the day, basically... i had a camera, my fedora hat and this is what happened.. not my fault...
Okay.. i think it's cute.. i know, I'm getting vain... but I can't help it, I have fun taking my picture... hehe
Who doesn't feel cool in a fedora?
