My life is changing fast! My parents just helped me buy my dream car -- a little diesel engine hatchback. Now I just gotta make sure I am awesome at my job so that I can make the money to pay for it.
Whoa.
Also, I confirmed new roommates today. My house is officially full, and my monthly rent payments officially way down below what I'd budgeted. I'm happy I went with my gut on that one, and didn't get a one-bed... that would have been -so- -expensive.- Plus, being the person who signed the lease has given me so much power! This is clearly the way to do it.
There's a lesson here somewhere.
I hope it's not that money is a good replacement for community. (Ambition, social capital, and capital just tend to go together... right?)
