Basically we all decided it was best that memo leave. It was no longer solely my choice to let him stay. Marley and Isabelle both felt uncomfortable and unsafe with him in the house. Also, we could not bear him being so disrespectful. After taking his keys from him on saturday night and without a single apology, and with the drug use...he went even further by coming home at 5am and called each and every one of us to wake us up to let him in the house. He knew very well that he did not have keys, but yet he still chose to come home at 5am. For some strange reason my phone was shut off, as was isabelle's, and marley was not answer calls. So, he had to go somewhere else til about 10am when he shouted through my window to let him in.
Still no apology.
He returns a day later, saying that is sorry and that he really screwed up...asking if he could stay longer, because suddenly his apartment situation wasnt working out. Basically he knew he would be leaving soon so he didnt care what how he acted...but SUDDENLY his apartment was taking longer than expected so he tried to beg his way for a place to stay. It was already decided unanimously, that he was out. He came asking me, because he was too afraid to confront the other roomies...of which I replied... "Memo, it is out of my hands now. I got permission for you to stay once. And you took advantage of us. If you talk to my roommates they might agree to let you stay. But i already know how they feel. They do not trust you. Nor do they want you in the house." He said everyone deserved a second chance, which I kindly (yet boldly..i dont know what came over me...) replied...
"We took a major chance with allowing you to stay without having met you first. We fed you, sheltered you, and ignored the fact that you were using us for the past 3 weeks. I suggest you call someone else for a chance. Seeing as you've gone home with many people so far I am sure you will find someone who will let you sleep on their couch. And if you havent, then I imagine you have been searching and meeting the wrong people in New York."
He spent the night, and left the following morning.
