Unrelated other random things
Since I figured I ought to post something other than doom and gloom once in a while..
Recently..
I saw "Slumdog Millionaire". I'd highly recommend it. It was just lovely on all levels, and I don't even like that millionaire show. It wasn't really about that at all anyhow.
I read "Planet of the Apes" the original book. It is, of course, a bit different than the movie was. I haven't seen the movie in ages and probably should again so I can see the differences more clearly. I liked it quite well..except for a part in the middle where Ulysses kind of waxes philosophical on this evolution of apes vs men etc thing. In that part I was thinking, get ON with it will ya?
I discovered a new puzzled called Kenken. If you like Sudoku you'll probably like this too. However, if you like sudoku (already..especially the medium-hard ones) don't get the Will Short Kenken volumne 1 and 2 that are out there, google them up on a newspaper site instead. The Will Short ones are too easy even for easy.
My external hard drive seems to have gone on the fritz. This sucks, as ALLLL my music is on this drive. Luckily as of recently all or most is also on another drive I got for work. Hehe, and I'm going to try the bizarro recommended possible drive fixing technique of putting it in the freezer for a bit. Weird.
If you go to Aldi, do NOT buy the ground chicken patties in a box. BLECH. Wubbewy.
Q cat snores
I'm not nearly ready for xmas. I can't believe it (my family's big thing anyhow) is next wednesday. EEEP. I still have some prezzies to buy. Somehow work and cats distracted me, go figure.
I reallly really hope it doesn't snow 10 inches tomorrow as I need to get to Ann Arbor tomorrow night.
Tis the season for Reese's xmas trees. Yum. Why they taste so much better I don't know, but they do.
