this is based on part fact, and part fiction, as is everything i write. it's up to you to figure out what really happened. this is an ongoing thing...you'll be introduced a couple characters, and that's about it for now *chuckles*
A pair of twins peeked into the next-door neighbor's yard from their window seat, staring at the massive Uhaul parked in the driveway. After years of the house being deserted, there were finally new neighbors. Mosi never knew why the house was abandoned; there never seemed to be anything wrong with it. They weren't in a bad neighborhood, the house was simply abandoned. Manu figured it was haunted.
Mosi and Manu were only children. Their parents planned on having one and stopping, but they got stuck with twins. They were sixteen years old, both that beautiful mocha color that came from their North African heritage. Mosi's pitch black hair fell to the bottom of her shoulder blades, while Manu's brushed his jawline. They looked quite alike, and when Mosi's hair was shorter, the twins got confused easily. Everything about them was the same, or very alike, even their mannerisms and ways of talking. The brother and sister were closer than siamese twins; they shared a room, went to the same high school, and tried to take the same classes. They did everything together, and while people thought a little oddly of this, they saw no reason to be apart from each other, since one twin considered the other a best friend.
The twins simultaneously brushed hair out of their faces to get a better look at the new neighbors. All they had seen so far was a man and his wife, but they were really looking out for other teenagers. The door to the house next door opened, and the twins gasped as a very beautiful girl stepped out and looked over the yard and street, seeming to stare off into space. She was small and pale, with long, blonde hair that waved gently in the wind. The light streaming through the trees made her hair shine blue and green and gold. She crossed her arms over her chest uncomfortably and looked around a little. Mosi and Manu were not even aware that they were staring and blushed as the girl looked towards them, pulling away from the window quickly and diving for the couch. Both panted a little then looked at each other, grinning, and nodded, the same thought occuring in both heads.
