Okay, here's a poem about saffron. I was considering doing a sestina, but they are far too difficult... especially if they are about saffron.

Eyes look back
From the fields of crocuses
Their shining irises beckon
Billowing forth
The ever so smooth color
I am unable to resist
I am engulfed
In a sweet sea of orange
And of yellow and gold
I never look back
And my troubles disappear
In those glorious waves of saffron
