Holiday Ahoy!
Hi everyone...
This will probably be my last entry before I shoot off tomorrow lunchtime and that'll be it from me for over two weeks. My last entry as a single guy...
For years I thought the few days before I'd tie the knot, I'd be shitting myself... but, although I'm a little nervous, it's nowhere near as bad as I thought it'd be. And, to be honest, the only thing I'm nervous about is the documentation being cosha...! I'm literally counting the hours... I can't wait to get away.
Of course, this doesn't mean I wont miss you all...
Then after that, I'm only at Merlin for one week, then I'm off to Tesco. In the words of Arnold J Rimmer, "Up the zigguraut, lickety-split!". Well, I hope so anyway. I have aims now, and goals far more serious than ever. House by the end of the year, and (dare I say it) kids on the horizon, God willing...
But don't you kid yourself... I'm still not gonna grow up. There's no 'f' in chance... :)
Once I get back, I'll see what kinda pictures I can post into the journal(none of me hitching my kilt up, I hope!), if I can work that out... if not, I'll e-mail them around my address book to anyone interested. I am gonna be in highland dress, but not the full shebang, (too hot for that), just a ghillie shirt & kilt, essentially. Just as long as those other holiday makers don't get too curious about what's under my kilt, I'll be fine... ;o)
I really can't contain myself as it is, but you should imagine Sarah!! We've never been on a big holiday together in the 5 years (almost) we've been going out and she's never been anywhere abroad. We managed a week in Scarborough last year, and that's been it. Apart from that, Sarah's only been to Inverness... so she's a pocket of excitement and giggles!
Well, folks, I probably should get going to Tesco. Another long night ahead... probably sleepless as we.. I will be in work tomorrow morning til about 12 and then that's me. Fly out Friday morning around 9. After that, I'm gonna be on the Mahito's...
Hope you all have a cracking two weeks, the only reason I'll want to come back is the party and my journal.

Go DAVID in the British GP this weekend. Red Bull all the waaaaay, baby!
Good luck to Theo and big Peter in the World Cup, geniunly do hope they do well. Other than that, it's (Jason) Scotland and Sweden all the way...
(Watch out for the Dutch, they're my dark horses)
