Sozza! It's at the civic playhouse. We play Wednesday, Friday & Saturday nights at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm until the 5th of August. Tickets are $29 for adults, $19 for students and $24 concession (yeah, I know, but the only reason they're that high is cos ticketek added a $9 levy to them...)
Doors open 1 hour before the show.
Basicaly this is the launch show for a brand new theatre company in the region - "The Popular Theatre Company". The producers are the same as those for Ultra-Swing Lounge.
It's a strange show, but is as the name suggests- It's everything Shakespeare ever wrote (& even some of the dubious Shakespeare) in under 2 hours. Basically 3 out of work actors in L.A. wrote it in the late 80's to give themselves work, and now it has made them alot of money...
It's strange the way it all comes together, but somehow it does... and we've had good audience responses so far.
If you pick up your tickets by just going to the ticketek office and buying them it works out cheaper, cos I think they waive part of the levy...
Come Along! We can finally meet in person!
Wow.. now I sound like a desperate wanker trying to plug my show...
Other shows aty the moment, I'd go see Tantrum theatres new one over at Honeysuckle... I'll post more when I know more... it's one that's been written by the cast and is totally self-devised... really good from what I've heard... I don't think it opens for another week though...
