I had actually read Prep before and loved it. I thought I'd commented back then but obviously not. Remedied now :)

You're welcome! To be honest, I am more into AUs, because there is just such a wealth of them in this fandom. But there are also a ton of "canon AUs" or "in-Panem AUs" where K&P are never reaped, one of them is a sole victor, or whatever. :)

I really enjoy those sorts of AUs, and even some of the straight AUs too (I read yours last night and really enjoyed them, for example), but the thing is, they are so easy to find that I don't really need recs for those. It's these canon ones that are so much harder to find so I'm very grateful you did this. Also, I suspect fandom 'did canon' a long time before I discovered it so there's that too - a lot of what I'm looking for is older.

That last one, btw, was so amazing. I mean, they all were, but that one was my favourite. Just so good. There is such a wealth of things to do with that timeframe that I'm not sure I'll ever get bored with it. How they healed and came back together is one of the things that fascinates me most about them.

On this rec list, monroeslittle and aimmyarrowshigh both have written some really awesome in-Panem AUs, I highly recommend their stuff.

Also, a good resource for this fandom is everlarkficquestions on Tumblr. Just poke around that blog and I think you will be able to find a lot of in-Panem AUs, canon fics, and more in the "growing back together" genre like The Unrecorded Hours. (Although I have to warn you, that last one is basically the #1 most-recced fic in THG fandom, try not to compare other stories to that one!)
