Life is generally good. Work is a little hectic, but with the addition of 2 new sign artists, it's going to get very manageable very soon. Probably after the CEO and owner visits and the May Flyer. But "soon" is relative, and in this case, even getting manageable sometime in mid May is "soon". Also, one of the new sign artists has the same size feet as me! She's something like 3 inches taller, but has the same tiny feet. Poor her. And we have similar shoe tastes. We both like boots, and she said to me on Wednesday "Were those Fluevogs you were wearing a few days ago?" Oh, the way to my heart! So, "yes", I say, and she beams "I have those same ones in the boots". I wore my embroidered Docs to work yesterday just to show off.
I'm going to start working weekends again, just until the hecticness goes away, whenever that may be. I just need to be at the store when it's not open, and weekend mornings are the best time for that. So, I'm going to do my best to be there at 6ouch am on Sunday. My special challenge this week is that Gogol Bordello are playing in SF on Sunday night, and I don't know if I'm going to have the energy to go. Oh, argh! I'll have the energy somehow. They're actually playing Sat night, too, but that show is sold out.
