What a week!
Okay, last week I started my new job. It was strange and slow to start. This week will no doubt be better, both in actual work accomplished and enjoyment. I am at least enjoying taking the train and bike to work.
Balkan Beat Box on Saturday was sold out. I found this out when I arrived at the box office of the Great American Music Hall to buy my ticket. So I drove home from San Francisco and stomped over to my friend Kam's house. She was having a party I thought I would have to miss. A very kind and tall man made sure I had plenty of tequila, and the party provided fascinating people and conversation, and I fell asleep on the couch (being far too intoxicated to drive home).
This evening I auditioned for Danse Libre. The audition was tons of fun, exhausting, and long. I should find out by Thursday if I've been asked back. On Wednesday I have decadance auditions.
Somehow I'm still planning on continuing to go to fitness boot camp. So it's bed time for me.
