nothing really too much to update about

were still on lockdown. but its getting re evaluated this monday. everyone hates it and we cant even speak out on our behalfs. if we do, we face njp (which is bad) hell not even dependents can even talk to anyone. if they do, and say something 'bad' they can face getting sent back stateside. just getting kicked out, like that.

the 14yr old girl wasnt raped, if anything she was assaulted. the tests came back and they found out she still had her hymen, meaning shes still a virgin. hell even the ssgt told them he didnt have sex with her. he just kissed and pressed himself up onto her. hes no longer with the jap. police, hes in the hands of the military police. the jap govt arent goign to pursue the case anymore. the little girl just wants to be left alone. ( IMO, shes proly really embarrassed about calling wolf on rape, and being proven wrong) <--- harsh but i dont care.

we still cant go off base, all the people who have off base housing cant leave their house. its even a hassel to go and pay their electric bill. all cars owned by americans and dependents have a Y on their license plates. so we stand out pretty easy. so the jap police keep a sharp eye out for the Y......

and the japs are actualy starting to instigate things. most japanese people are non aggressive. they just dont go out looking for a fight. but there have been reports of Y plate cars having rocks thrown at them, paint being poured on their cars. okinawans trying to run them off the roads. hell there was even a case of a black lady almost getting kidnapped by a group of okinawans. and she has nothing to do with the military at all. she was just a tourist!

but the okinawans need us here whether they want to admit it or not. hell we bring alot of income to this island. weve been locked downed for about 3 weeks now and businesses are hurting. most places relied alot upon us to maje a profit. and now theyre screwed until its lifted.

hopefully we can leave base after this monday
