I threw a big fuss again because Mr. Bear is out having dinner with a "girl friend" tonight.   It drives me absolutely mad when he uses the expression,  "Oh, by the way, I'm taking so-and-so out to dinner on Thursday so I won't be able to see you."  And if I phone him sometimes during the midst of it, there's his quiet voice on the other end, "Oh

No, I think it's actually admirable that you're working towards it. I see more girls get mad at her boyfriend without doing anything useful in particular, but you have to courage to come up with the rules! I think you're actually communicating and letting him know your actual feeling, that's good.

I'm actually questioning this other girl, I don't think it's in anyway acceptable for someone to have a "dinner" with someone else's boyfriend. Unless she's your mutual friend or something, even with that, I'd still find it difficult.

Thank you for the kind words, Felicia.. But I really do think it's okay for couples to create rules for each other (as long as they are not too harsh!), to show that you do respect the other person very much!

You do think it's unacceptable, too, huh???? I know!! I told him to go ask any random person, whether it is normal for a girlfriend to feel jealous when her boyfriend is having dinner alone with another girl! (and he's picking her up, paying for dinner and driving her home, too!!) And he kept on saying how he can't see anything wrong with that. Oh my god!!! (*pounds on keyboard) The thing is, he's really outgoing and has a lot of friends, both male and female. And a lot of them he kept from highschool, and he just like hanging out with them once in a while and talk. He asked if I wanted to come along, but I've been and it's really boring (and I feel like a third-wheel because I have no idea what they are talking about.. @__@) so, yeah.. no worries.. hehe
