Favorite characters meme - check it out!
Some of these series that I thought of are kind of random... Why couldn't I think of more things? Also, all you guys should try this, I want to see your answers! And if anyone has any comments or sees any patterns in mine, let me know.
1- Write down a list of your favorite character from as many series as you can think of (whether you're big into it or not, or even if you don't much like it). If you don't have a favorite, go ahead and just leave the series off. If you're undecided between a couple characters, decide. Please pick just one.
2- Fill out the provided questions regarding your favorites. Don't think about the questions as you make the list.

1-Do you notice any patterns in your favorite characters when it comes to shounen animanga (i.e. gender, role, personality, etc.)?
Apparently I like a lot more male characters than female. But I don't know that that's necessarily true. There were so many series that I should've had on this list but didn't decide to include or didn't consider until after I started working on the answers. I think that in a lot of instances the characters who are my favorites are not the ones that I most identify with. I guess villains are not my favorites too...Additionally, I've learned that it's harder than I thought to figure out what counts as shounen and shoujo in some cases. If anyone else sees paterns in the characters I listed, please tell me!
2- Do you notice any patterns in your favorite characters when it comes to shoujo animanga (i.e. gender, role, personality, etc.)?
They're all very devoted to someone, passionate about something, they are all very good friends, and they stand up for what they believe in.
3- Do you notice any patterns in your favorite characters when it comes to non animanga (i.e. gender, role, personality, etc.)?
Hm, not really sure here. I'd say that there are more psychological issues in this group though, as a whole...I think that devotion to someone is still a main theme though for my favorite characters.
4- Were you surprised by any of your results/any patterns that did or did not pop up?
I guess I didn't realize that devotion is such a strong point in many of the characters that I like. I'm not sure though. I feel like if I had more energy I could go into greater depth here and find patterns, but I'm really tired right now.
5- How do your results compare to that of your friends list?
I have a lot less female characters on my list than haro did, and I have less characters in the gray area and villains area than haro and abarero, but I have more characters in the under 13 characters than either of them (I think...) and I believe I had more similar favorite characters with abarero. I also think I had more non animanga characters than either of them did.
