homework, CN, and cosplay...
Where did the day go? For that matter, what happened to this weekend? I'm starting to freak out a little bit because I realized that I have a lot of homework to get done for next week (Wednesday to be more specific), and I've only done a little bit of it. I did no homework yesterday, and nothing today either, which I feel is not a good thing. It feels like I'm wasting my time. On the other hand I've been feeling like I have some kinda virus and haven't had a lot of energy, so I don't know about the quality of the papers I'd be producing if I had been working on things or if I could have kept focus long enough to do my reading. Oh well, I guess tomorrow I'll have to start cramming.
I think the Cartoon Network is out of their minds to be canceling Teen Titans by the way. I watched the second to last episode tonight and almost started crying a few times, both because the episode was touching but also because I know it's almost over with and there is so much more they could do with those characters! Then of course I'm irritated by CN for their deciding to not show the reruns of FMA that I need to catch up on. I've only seen up to episode 31 and I don't believe the DVD with episode 32 on it will be out until June! *grrr* Maybe they'll start reshowing those again though before that time.
I'm trying to figure out who I want my third cosplay to be for ACen. I know I want it to be a costume I could make myself as I'd like to try to do that this time around. Since I don't really sew beyond mending holes in clothing, it'd have to be either something I could put together from items at stores, or something really really simple to sew... So far I've commissioned costumes to be Nurse Joy from Pokemon and Princess Millerna Aston from Escaflowne. I'd be interested in cosplaying as someone from FMA, Shaman King, or Yu-Gi-Oh!, in particular..and then of course there's Tohma Seguchi, but I think his costume would be too hard to do because of the coat and the wig I'd need. I'd want to go with his lovely black outfit if I did cosplay as him. And there's also the Meiko from Marmalade Boy idea, though my hair would have to grow an awful lot by then, and besides her school uniform I'm not sure what a signature outfit of her's would be. Any ideas from you guys?
I've also joined more ratings communities and been a little surprised by some results. I haven't been officially stamped as anyone yet, I don't think. And I've been playing Animal Crossing for DS pretty frequently, I love that game!
Now if only I could tap into some kind of energy reserve somewhere in my body j/k...I feel like I've been attacked by the Negaverse (from Sailor Moon) though. Not a very good state to be in to get work done.
