I'm sure you all know about the recent attack. Godric came up with the rather clever idea of having a sort of young auror's society to start defending ourselves. The adults are not taking this seriously. We need to sit down and figure out how to make this a reality. I, for one, am not prepared to be caught helpless again

Granger. I nearly died. I could have been killed. The adults are not listening to me that I was attacked. Obviously, we need to take this into our own hands and we could really use your mind and knowledge. If you don't come, we'll do this anyway.

The nurse thought that I was pulling a prank and that was her 'professional opinion.' She was going to tell the headmaster that there was no attack. You know the headmaster will trust her over me.

The problem with that, Hermione, is that trouble has already come looking. If something is wandering around school, attacking people while they're handicapped, isn't not preparing to defend ourselves to our fullest asking for trouble?

Hermione, what if another student gets attacked? As a fellow Prefect, I don't think you'd be able to sit around and let that happen.

Especially if the possibility is open of a younger student getting attacked.
