My server's been down since Saturday. I woke up at something like 5am to the sound of the UPS screaming and, half-asleep, I decided the logical thing to do was to hit the UPS power switch. That worked. Except the server wouldn't boot up afterwards. Probably not the wisest move.

Ugh, the last couple weeks have been kinda irritating, work-wise. 12 hour days doing relatively unfun things. You know how it is... Mind you, actually getting that stuff done was more satisfying than pretty much anything else I've done all year. So there's an upside.

It's supposed to be a mixer event for R&D to get to know the Support team. Which is fine and a great idea, but probably not something I'm liable to get much out of. Social dynamo I am not.

I took today as a work-at-home day, because I had a whole bunch of really boring, repetitive debug code I had to write. I can't do stuff like that at the office anymore. There's too much stuff going on and I'm too easily distracted.
