Jobs?
I read this article at Yahoo! that got my blood boiling.. Seriously? You entice graduates with great statistics for the BPO Industry and could care less about elaborating other available jobs out there?! No wonder we don't get anywhere high~~ because they don't let you aim high!! There was this one person, Masters of Education person, who defends the 'under-employment' job that person has being a BPO. What? You took on Education, why not be a teacher?! Don't even say that the pay is low, everyone knows teaching is a labor of love!
Crap, really. And one is getting pissy about how the government should stop limiting the foreign investments in the country. THE REASON WHY THEY DO THAT IS TO HELP LOCAL INVESTORS STILL HAVE A PLACE! Rely completely on foreign investment and locals would be discouraged, because no one would then take a chance on the little guy! And it is for the money to revolve around the country! And complain about the rich getting richer because they're thieves~ wake up! Ever heard of hard work and determination and street smarts and luck?! and then she goes even further, blaming religion.... and then blaming ABS-CBN and GMA 7 for zombifiying the poor masses. If any, I consider them glints of hope, by showing the masses that hope does exist! It is when they blur the line between fiction and reality that makes it sad~ but can you blame them? The government can't take care of all of them and most of them refuse to take any steps to make their lives better! They bring their children down with them by forcing them to work with them~ instead of legitimate ways to send their kids to school.
We can't cure stupid. We can do something about ignorance.
