or not. Still an obligatory post.
Last year was one heck of a challenge. Aside from financial struggles (not being able to save much), less gaming, busted laptop, busted EHD, thesis, returning to pRO, losing a guild, disassembling programs, picture taking, reunions, a whole lot of psychobabble, it was the the first year that we did not visit mom on her anniversary. I'm not really sure if it has any direct implication to me struggling with my inner self but ah well, I'll just have to find some time and some way to deal with it.
GRADES! I haven't got them yet. But I am hoping that I still retain my scholarship. The only issue I have now is that the learning institution refuses to prioritize a graduating student. I'm supposed to be done this term but because of schedule conflicts, I am forced to extend one more term.
FAMILY issues still need dealing with. Coming to terms with some issues but there's bound to be more. At the least, I have my cousin with me. Only, I haven't told her everything, but I will, one day, hopefully soon. Also, it was only recently that we actually realized we meet up and watch MMFF for the past few years. It feels good to have something of a routine.
GAMING... No more console, my DS is held hostage by my younger brother, so I have to make do with emulation, which is fine with me. Also, I have been playing Luna (gPotato) but stopped when Blue got busted. When I came back, the guild was gone, our GM got hacked, my friends are no longer existent... So it makes me think if I should continue playing. I'm at level63 already (I think) and I've got sweet equipment there.
My friend gave me the Valkyrie Server to pRO, asking me to play. I've played the Ragnarok Online during its beta days, when Chaos was the only server and there are over 20,000++ players logged at a certain time. Right now, I've got 6 players:
Level 94 - Knight --> Agi-Dex build
Level 82 - Rogue --> Backstabbing Plagiarist build (Str-Agi-Dex-Vit)
Level 70 - Hunter --> Hybrid Blitz build
Level 50 - Merchant --> Battle Forger build (forge oriented, I think.. or am trying..)
Level 40 - Acolyte --> Full Support build
Level 13 - Ninja --> Hybrid Melee/Thrower build (SUCKS THAT THERE'S STILL A GLITCH!!!)

I couldn't very well forgo my ninja yet as they have not yet fixed the throwing bug. Can't equip shurikens and kunais despite having the skills for it. I get bored pretty easily, my knight's been like that for the past 2 weeks and I went and made the rogue, the hunter, the acolyte, and the merchant. I like doing a hybrid build OR an Agi-dependent build. Granted, they don't do as much damage and are squishy but it depends on the circumstances. I'm not doing WoE or PvP anytime soon, I just like killing digital monsters, get loot, and perfect my equipment, probably make new friends along the way.
I'm anti-bot~ those bots should be eliminated! I can't stand them. Not only do they kill-steal, it also feels like the game has lost its integrity of being a decent community. I mean, that's the reason why I left in the first place. I was one of the first double dagger assassins and left because the game was no longer fun for me. What's the point of playing a game if you have a program doing it for you? I should inject a virus to crash those bots. It's actually easy, considering they could bypass the system altogether, all I would really need is a program that could calculate the algorithm the bots have. People are less likely to stay in one map for more than two hours without going to the tool dealer or Kafra to dispose or drop off items. Ah well, maybe after my thesis.
HOBBIES -- not much has happened. Without the funds to buy them, they're at a standstill. The most memorable thing I got last year would be the Street Fighter World Warrior Encyclopedia.
