Seriously, like, what?

I have a total love/hate relationship with ticket agencies.  This morning is the prime example.  I was trying to buy three tickets to see Neil Young at the Ice Arena.  After putting in all my details and pressing buy, it whirred about for a bit and then went caput.  Then it said that I'd been trying to buy tickets for a gig that doesn't exist.  (!!!)  I checked my email, had nothing from them, waited a bit, still had nothing, and then did it again.  This time I got the little thing up saying 'Congratulations, you've just bought 3 tickets.'  Then I checked my email.  I had two confirmation emails, with different booking numbers, sent at the same time.  So now I have 6 tickets, and have just spent £340 on tickets.  And to top it off, all the phone numbers I have for the different agencies are engaged.  I am about ten seconds away from going beserk.

Last night, when we got home from town, there was another slug in our kitchen.  I hate slugs.  Totally and utterly loathe slugs.  For some reason when it gets warm (well, warmer) they somehow get into the house and slug about in the back porch, or in the kitchen.  It drives me mental.  I have tried making massive salt lines outside the back door so that they explode before they've had a chance to get to the house, but I'm totally stuck.  I think today I'm going to go and get some silicon sealant and go around the bottom edges of my kitchen work top and back door.

I'm rather hungry.  I think I'm going to make some cheese on toast.  And then go shopping.  I need a vase for my wooden tulips.  And then I'm going to ring seetickets and kick their backsides.

music : neil young, teenage angst hasn't paid off well
