LOUD

I just tipped tea on my leg, which was bad on two counts.  1) my leg is now very wet and I can't be bothered to go and change pj's and 2) I wasted good tea on my leg, which doesn't even like tea.  Bah!  Don't mock about the pj's at 6pm.

Today it snowed.  Which was rather exciting, as I left my house at 5 to 8 to go to work and the snow was hardly touched by anyone, so I had the joy of making the first footprints.  Unfortunately none of the roads had been gritted so cars were crawling along and everyone who turned up at work was really, really late.  Somewhat irritatingly they all left far earlier than I did as well.  But oh well, I guess it's just one of those things.

Dan has just called to tell me that Tesco have cancelled our shopping delivery due to 'adverse weather'.  What bastards.  There's no snow left now anyway, it's all bloody melted, and I've got no food!  Eejits.

I came home from work really early yesterday because I felt very odd.  And I was very pale (so I was told) so I came home at around 3, and watched Lost again. I do love Lost.  And when I spoke to Cassie about it this morning I realised that I've made a lot of conclusions about it that she hadn't.  I'm getting answers.  Whoop.

I want to either go to a really loud gig, or go dancing or something.  Anything really, I just feel like I've not done any loud, ridiculous singing for a while.  Our random night out to Rock City the other week was pretty good (especially the inpromtu singing of High School Musical songs whilst walking around) but I want to go to Distortion again.  On a Distortion shaped note, I think they're getting rid of it and putting in something else instead.  Which might be worth giving a go.

Everything feels a bit flat and uninteresting this week.  Although it has absolutely flown past.  Flown.  Like a bird.

In the Sex On Fire video, why does Caleb insist on eating chicken drumsticks in a wannabe-sexy fashion?  It's like they've just been for a KFC because the young bass player (I don't know what his name is) is wiping his mouth/face with what looks to be one of those lemoney serviettes.

I've just flicked onto a Serj Tankian video and it's made me really want to go and see him play his album.  Oh.  Want.  Loud, silly, singing.

tv : lost, music : metronomy, aka weathergirl, random is as random does
