Brrr....
I am so freaking cold my feet actually hurt.
Daniel and I go to see Kings of Leon tomorrow night. I'm rather looking forward to it now - there are bits of the new album that should be fantastic in the flesh. I know it's sold out (there's a surprise) but I'm thinking it'll be quite spacious in standing land like it was for Foo Fighters so I should be able to dance like a loon. I wonder what I can wear? It's too facking cold to wear anything interesting, so no doubt it'll be some skinnies, my Converse and a plethora of jumpers. Seriously, should I be alarmed that I work in a centrally heated office and yet I wear a vest/t-shirt, with a long sleeve top over it, with a jumper over that and a cardi over the jumper. And a pretty scarf. And I'm usually quite chilly by 9am. (I get in before 8.30, and am lovely and warm after my brisk walk.)
Yurk. Daniel is making me watch Notts County on the FA cup highlights that he taped last night. *Yawn* I think it's payback for me wanting to watch the WRC Rally GB Preview. I've decided who my favourite rally driver is. Jari-Matti Latvala. He's Finnish. He's fantastic.
This week is going to be a bit mental. It's the gig tomorrow, and then on Thursday I'm on an away day and then it's the work Christmas party, and then on Saturday I'm going to London to stay at Sarah's. That should be all kinds of ace, but ohmygod I'm going to be so tired by then!
Our shower has packed up, which has fucked me off something chronic. Please excuse my language, but I really really cannot abide baths, and I have too much hair to be able to successfully wash it over the edge of the bath without the shower. I was made a lot angrier by the fact that when I called our estate agents they said that they have to talk to the landlord. Gah! Last time they had to speak to the landlord the hole in our roof took eight weeks to be fixed. And the hole in the roof is no doubt considered more serious than a shower that doesn't work.
I think I might make a weather appropriate icon before I go and attempt to wash my hair with a jug. *Shudder*
