Maestro, my small violin, if you please

Today as I walked to work, it was raining. And because it was raining I got wet. So I got to work and my feet and trousers and legs and shoes were drenched. Totally and utterley soaked. Now, I change my shoes at work anyway - but my socks were soaked through, so I didn't want to put my pumps on as soon as I got there, so I had to squelch around in my socks while I collected my printing and talked my boss through our weeks sales, and to make a cup of tea. Eventually I had to go and buy some pop socks, take off my soggy socks, and put cold pop socks on, so I've had freezing feet all day.

To top this off, I then find out that Brawn GP have been bought out by Mercedes and want Nico Rosberg and Nick Heidfeld, and not Jenson. This means that Jenson will probably be off to McLaren because Mercedes can't afford him, and this means that a certain Finnish piece of awesomeness with fabulous hair and a penchant for vodka is now unable to find a drive. Seriously, how is this happening? I do NOT want Jenson and Hamiltoad driving for the same team, even though hopefully this would just mean that Jenson would whup his ass and the car probably is better. But, Kimi! I want to see Kimi in F1 next year.

Now I'm watching last nights House, because I watched Top Gear last night instead. I had to google Eric Bana because I couldn't remember seeing him in Star Trek. Turns out he was the bad guy with lots of face paint on, so he wasn't exactly recognisable. And we watched so much Buffy this weekend - ohmygod, lovelovelove Buffy!

I bought some fabulous boots on Saturday - they're knee high with tweed lining. Flat, black, squishy. And the best bit is, they're going to look even better once I've broken them in a bit and the foot bit has softened up. Unlike my tan leather cowboy boots, which are not softening up enough, and look a bit too nice.

Anyway... I want to watch University Challenge now, so... bye!

f1, teenage angst hasn't paid off well, tv : house, tv : buffy the vampire slayer, tv : university challenge
