In case you live under a rock,
it was halloween yesterday.
I was on costume duty, so, here are all of our costumes:
So here's me as Alice In Wonderland.
Dan as Willy Wonka.
Michelle as the Corpse Bride.
Steve as Jack Skellington.
Gemma as Mrs Lovett.
Chiz as Beetlejuice.
And Howey as Edward Scissorhands. (I'm rather proud of this costume - I worked really bloody hard on it!)
So that was what everyone looked like. We started with a few drinks at Chelle and Howey's, and then headed into town. After a quick one in the Bank, we went to Pit and Pendulum - only to find out that it was too busy to get drinks, so we went next door to Hogs Head. Then we wandered up to Rock City and had to queue. Now, we knew there was an all-nighter, and Dan and I had been saying we need to get tickets, but it fell on deaf ears, and so after 15 minutes of queuing, Amy and Peaky left. Then after another 15 minutes, some people got let into the queue in front of us as they were friends of the bouncers, and Howey threw a massive strop. So he, Chelle and Dan left and went to Wetherspoons (how exciting) leaving Gemma, Chiz and myself. Steve had buggered off before we left Hogs Head, sighting exhaustion as an excuse. Eventually, after about 45 minutes in the queue, we got in and went for a dance, and sat downstairs and drank water, and revisited the toilets in the Rig which I busted Jen out of about a year ago. A few hours later we decided to go home, and after being royally ripped off, we got home at about 3am.
Today then, we've watched Buffy (now onto season 3) and then watched the grand prix - which was rather good. Very impressed with Jenson's scrap with Webber - wish he could've got past, but if he had I don't think he'd've said quite what he did in the podium-waiting-room... Gotta love the boy, dontcha?
So it's only 133 days until F1 starts again in Bahrain... I'd better set the sky plus for the Jenson special next Saturday though! I gave the We-Love-Lewis champion wank prog they did last year!
And that's about that for now.
