Bank hol antics - or the lack of it

Sebastien Loeb is a gymnast.  They showed bits of it on the WRC program I watched today.  But Jari-Matti's car-kissing antics were the cutest things ever.

Dot to Dot this year was hampered by a migraine.  We went into town after the race - go Jenson, by the way - at about 4pm.  After wandering to Stealth to see Gran Rhonde, and then Trent Uni to watch The Soft Pack, Dag for Dag and My Vitriol, we then went to Rock City to see Baddies and then Ladyhawke.  My head was starting to hurt during MV, but got a lot worse later.  During Ladyhawke, while I was struggling to keep my feet un-stuck from the floor, I was thinking 'could really do with going home',  Once they finished, City half-emptied but it didn't get any cooler, and my head started to really go for it.  So we sacked it off just after 10 and came home.  I couldn't believe how hot and sticky I was when we got outside - it was mental.  Nice-ish, but mental.  So we got home at half 10, and I went to sleep with a cold wet flannel on my face.  I hate migraines.  It totally buggers my next day up as I feel exhausted.

Today, as it was hot but not sunny, we went to play football - I phoned my folks then played basketball - and then went to Tesco to load up on BBQ supplies.  There were 8 of us all together, so we were all sat around in our garden eating a ridiculous amount of barbequed stuff.  Then we went to Chelle and Howey's to watch Tropic Thunder.

I was telling my Mum that I'd see Angels and Demons, and she said she wasn't a fan of Ewan McGregor, but she'd be rather keener to see it if "Downey Jr was in it - he's a bit of a star".  My Mum is wicked.  It's only because I made her and Dad watch Iron Man over Christmas.

I don't want to go back to work tomorrow.  But I'm going home at the weekend, so it's only four days.

the obligatory summer bbq, dot to dot festival, holidays
