people do drugs for the same reason people believe in greater beings.
it is just an escape.

Or an excuse to escape the real life. But I live without drugs and there are easier ways to excuse yourself from the world.

that is great that you live without them. I respect people who do that. But for others, it is a way to escape. It is a change of the normal. But who says your normal and my normal are even closely related.

i dont believe in a greater being as an escape, i believe in a greater being because there IS a greater being but i guess to someone who doesnt believe in a greater being, that would make about as much sense to them as people doing drugs makes to me.
