(no subject)
Sorry I haven't been updating - I've been very busy lately.
I got myself a job looking after a small tribe (okay, 12) children during the day, and it leaves me exhausted in the evenings.
We've been wandering town and the surrounding area, playing cops and robbers, Star Trek (A few of them were raised in Dork Households, and the older kids watched a few episodes and started thinking), and their favorite, Knights. I took them to one museum to look at the art, and hope to see a couple of others. It was supposed to be my day off, but the parents decided that they wanted to have a day to themselves so here I am with them. I feel like the kid in Clerks constantly chanting "I'm not supposed to be here today."
We had a boardgame tourney that could last well into the night (I got knocked out of monopoly, which is how I got the five minutes to write this) but right now the younger ones are screaming for lunch, and I must comply. If any of you have an idea to entertain a mixed-age group of kids let me know.
