Games!!!
Okay, so saturday I went to Eurogamer 2010. Pretty good, and I got a good look at a few games.
Fable 3: I played this one twice because they brought 7 different demos for the game using a bunch of different configurations for the hero/heroine/prince/princess. Looking really good. Combat way more smooth, especially changing between ranged and melee weapons. Also Simon Pegg is your sidekick. And I've been told that nothing bad happens to the dog.
Fallout New Vegas: More of the same, but in a good way. And I think I saw some colours apart from brown. But those stupid giant scorpians are still out to get me.
Little Big Planet 2: I wasn't that big a fan of the first one, I just couldn't see the point. But trying this out with my mates was fun.
Just Dance 2: I like dancing games, and this was a good one. A lot more clear about where you're supposed to be holding your remote hand.
Kinect Dance: I wasn't really bothered with all the Kinect and Move stuff, but a bunch of us were doing it, so I gave it a go. It was okay, not amazing.
Enslaved: Interesting one this. Based on Journey to the West and written by Alex Garland writer of The Beach and 28 Days Later with the mocap for Monkey being done by Andy Serkis. Pretty good gameplay, kinda like The Force Unleashed meets Uncharted. I liked.
Other games that I didn't play included Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Fifa, Marvel vs. Capcom 3, some 3D racing game,
various shooters, Dragon Age 2 which I would have played except the crows was insane. Also the had Zelda: Skyward Sword there but it was in a closed off booth and was a 3 hour wait. Tried to get back at the end of the day, but there was no time. Shame
So a good day. No free stuff or cool swag to be had unfortunately.
