May 4th: Mike Hon Gets Blown
I remember that timeline from the final issue of the school newspaper in high school. There was an entry for May 4th that said "Mike Hon gets blown". We had a bunch of tornadoes rip through our high school (F1 or less) and junior high exactly 8 years ago today (during which Mike Hon, one of the tennis players, had to hold on to a cyclone fence to avoid getting tossed by one of the tornadoes).
That was some weird weather.
In other news, I took a cold shower today after my workout (with the window of the bathroom open). It felt really nice. However, the mirror was STILL steamed up when I got out. I guess I'm just that sexy.
Now how about some incompetence in the world of communications...
I just got a bill from Cingular for $2.68. The billing cycle was "4/10/06 - 4/10/06". As if that's not funny enough, the due date for the payment was May 1. I didn't actually receive the bill in the mail until May 2. Now Cingular should probably ask themselves if the $2.68 that they're getting from this transaction was really worth all the trouble.
(plus I'm going to call and say "um... I've gotten two bills now from you guys- one for three days of service and one for one day of service. Can you just keep the bills coming on a monthly basis?...")
