vWell, greetings friends!
It has finally happened!! The screenplay's first draft has been completed!!! How exciting is that? It's approximately 85 pages long. Which I know is short, but we still have editing and drafting to do. So I'm currently working on the second draft and we have a final title - Found in Grey. We also have a kick ass last line. Cait and I were discussing this the other night and we decided one thing that makes all great movies great is their ending line. In Casablanca "This is going to be the beginning of a beautiful friendship." In Good Will Hunting "Son of a bitch. He stole my line." Those were the two we really talked about. Then we changed the GWH line to "Son of a bitch he bonsai-ed my kitty!" (Have you seen that website? Fucking ridiculous. Here's the url. PETA don't hate me.
http://www.bonsaikitten.com/) But the evening was very productive. Cait caught a lot of errors as far as story goes and Jill was awesome with catching the typos, after typos, etc. So what I'm gonna do now is make the first batch of changes and then write up questions and send it out to my cyber audience. So that should be soon, hopefully. I'm so darn excited.
hehe Hey Becca! I love you too!!!
So I got fish! Oh yeah, I have pets, three actually. I'm giving them two weeks. Or maybe three, but that's only if they get sick first. I can keep plants, but we'll see about pets. So their names are Vertical, because leave it to me I buy the one fish who can't figure out how to swim. The damn thing is always swiming vertically in the tank. Jill thinks the air bladder is too big and he's not balanced. I think he's missing a few brain cells. I also have Lazy Eye, because he looks like the Sheriff dog in the mouse movie (Fiefal? How the fuck do you spell that?) Goes West installment. When he goes 'Give 'em the LAZY EYE." Well my fish does that with out even trying b/c he's lopsided. The other fish doesn't ahve a name yet. He's free of that naming bulllshit. He can decide who he wants to be, swim to define himself. Until I figure something out, then fuck personal freedom, you're a fish!
And yes it is against housing rules to own one.
What else is new? I'm going to need a tutor for Italian because suddenly it's much harder. So that'll be fun to add to the 80 other things I'll end up doing.
Let's see anything good coming up? I have a test this week . . . not good. I have the screenplay to finish . . . is good. And next weekend Jess and I are going to see Josh Radin, I believe that is the plan. More to come on that in the future. He's friends with Zach Braff, you know the guy I need to marry. Yeah, so let's hope he's there and we can start the baby making process. If he isn't or if he says no, then I guess we only have on option left, become a lesbian and move to the South of France.
Am I being drastic? Of course.
What else is new? The fish were big this weekend.
Chris came up Saturday and we went to see Rutgers lose (what? did you say loose? that never happens) to Villanova in Men's Basketball. Villanova taught them how to play. It was that bad. It was like, 'look boys this is what a play looks like.' So very, very sad. But we had a good time. We had sushi for dinner and then got cake from Old Man Rafferty's for dessert and chilled out. I'm so glad my siblings and I are as close as we are. It's really an awesome relationship to have. It's like an unconditional friend that you can totally be goofy in front of because they've seen it all. No awkwardness need apply. It's awesome.
What else is new? I have to pee right now.
And I’m back. You know people find the weirdest place to have conversations on their cell phones. Like the bathroom, on the vanity ledge. What is that? Please go into the lounge. Bathrooms are for number 1 and number 2 and sometimes barfing. Well I guess in a freshmen dorm, always barfing.
My music guru, everyone should have one, turned me onto a group called Smoosh. They’re freaking 10 and 12 years old and they rock in a way that no one that age has ever rocked before. I strongly recommend them.
All right I think I’m done for tonight. I’ll talk to you little bit more in a few days I’m sure. Till then . . . later.
Lolove,
Lo
