Last Saturday my mother and I went to Rocky Ridge Farm in Mansfield, Missouri. They were holding their annual Laura Ingalls Wilder Festival. And since it was my b-day and my mom and I are big fans of Laura's we went for my b-day. Here are the pictures we took there at the farm.
I hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed being at the farm.

P.S. There are no interior photos because we weren't allowed to take them.

David Scrivener Talking About Pa's Fiddle. The fiddle sounded beautiful for an instrument so old. It was constructed sometime in 1850. And David Scrivner played beautifully.

It was just like stepping into a dollhouse. And every thing was just the way Laura left it when she passed away. It was amazing to see all of Laura and Almanzo's possessions. They still had the wind up clock that survived a fire in South Dakota and the trip from South Dakota to Missouri. It is an amazing piece of history and if any of you get the urge to come this direction stop by and visit. I'll leave you with a parting quote from Laura Ingalls Wilder:
"Just come and visit Rocky Ridge,
Please grant us our request,
We'll give you all a jolly time -
Welcome the coming;
Speed the parting guest."
