When something bad happens to someone else, you’re always the first to say, “Oh, you poor thing! I'm so sorry...” But when it’s you, it's not some poor thing to be sorry for. It’s your family, it’s your friends, it’s your LIFE.
They say that trials shape you, define you. Tell that to the girl lying broken and naked in the snow, her blood creating stunning scarlet ringlets around her.
They say that problems are blessings in disguise. Tell that to the bullethole in the man’s head, his hands still reaching towards his infant daughter who was kidnapped anyway.
They say that all tragedies can be prevented, if the people surrounding just work hard enough to do so. Tell that to the weeping music instructor who lost his protégée to a wild frat party.
Don’t think it all fits? I knew you weren’t worth my time.
