So we finally booked a hall for the reception, and have the date.  Sept. 27th, 2008.  Wow, it's happening so fast!

I agree with Stacey. There's a lot of options that are affordable AND classy! For the ivitations, just look for something simple and order it online. You don't need fancy save the dates or a lot of inserts. You can fit everything on one page.

Also, for RSVPs, you can use postcards so you can save on postage. That's what I did and the I printed them at work. Who cares if they are in color or pretty? People were mailing them back to me!

For centerpieces, depending on what's going to be on your table, you might not need one. If it's family style dining, it will probably get in the way. You can use your favors to be the decoration for the table. Just go on ebay or the flea market to get those organza bags and then fill them with candy. You can just get bulk candy anywhere! When it's on everyone's plate forming a circle, it'll look pretty!

I spent way too much time on my favors and a lot of people jsut left them on the table! Also, if you want a reception program, you can buy vellim at office max and then i can print them for you at work. Then you can just cut them at kinkos!

I want to see your hall though and what they provide. I can go with you one day and I can help you!
