Day 15: Back to the Start

Feb 22, 2011 09:04

Okay. I'm gonna be honest. Matt & I cheated this weekend. A lot.

I don't think we agreed to keep it a secret, so I think it's okay to post.

Here's my thinking though...this would be better as a life changing thing than just a 60 day thing and then go back to eating crap all the time. This weekend we cheated, but we chose items that were healthier. Like fish, and soups, and I am still coffee free. We didn't cheat there. The only thing I feel a little guilty about was the giant homemade cinnamon roll that we had at the pit-stop place on the way home yesterday. He bought it while I was in the restroom and when I came out, I was like "uh that's not legal" and he was all "but it's homemade" and then he put a bite on the fork and gave it to me and then said "ha you cheated first". Note to self: don't ever take bites from Matt. Most of the weekend we snacked on fruits and veggies that I brought. I think my favorite thing we snacked on was this simple mix of plain almonds and raisins. They were really yummy. I put just a little sea salt in it too.

This morning I woke up and I'm back on track. No junk. I promise. I am sipping on hot chai, about to get the day started. I took today off so I could get some things done around the apt and run some errands. I need to mail this package off to my ma and do some laundry. woo. Four day weekend means 3 day work week. That's hot.

I need to figure out a convenient workout to incorporate into this new lifestyle. I'm still hulla-hooping and playing the Wii but I'd like something a little more substantial. Anyone have any suggestions?

Weight Loss so far: 11 lbs.
