Happy Halloween!!!
Well, for some, today is just an excuse to not wear their uniform, but I have taken it a step further with a purple boa, cat ears, fake eyelashes, fangs, and skeleton gloves. Kind of a mishmash of different things. Plus I'm wearing jeans instead of my uncomfortable, squeezing my guts out, rash-giving uniform pants. I looked pretty funny driving the bus through downtown, and for the most part my passengers were *not* amused. One guy got on and let out a startled, "What the hell?!!?... oh...." Someone else, as he was getting off said, "oh, I didn't notice your... little outfit... before." How did he not notice? Is he blind??? Well, one lady actually said she liked my costume, to which I had the urge to say loudly, "Well, thanks, but it's not a costume." And leave it at that. Make her think I dress like that all the time. They all probably think I'm nuts now. (Well, if I've managed to make a few think I'm sane up to this point, they probably think I'm nuts now)
Oh, and this morning-- picture this scene: Jessie, You-Yin, and I in the Wiesen-wagon screeching into the Bellevue Base parking lot at 5:40am blasting Salt n Pepa "Push It". Pu-push it real good! (You know the one). We rolled the windows down and since we didn't see anyone, we did a slow loop around the parking lot honking the horn the entire time. We saw about 3 or 4 drivers, all looking at us like we're insane. Oh, and we're dancing feverishly. Good times were had by all.
