Welcome, Darren Graham!!!
God, I've been trying to update for, like, weeks now. First of all, and most importantly, I've been trying to give updates on Trinityinfinity. She's been in the hospital on strict bedrest for almost 9 weeks (since she was 27 weeks). The doc said, assuming her u/s on Tues was fine, she could go home this Thurs (at 36 weeks) and wait for her body to decide what to do.
I have to say, I've seen her every week & she's had her ups & downs, but this past Sat she was as up as I've seen her & couldn't wait to get home. These past 9 weeks have been difficult but she's proven everyone wrong by staying so strong & holding onto that little guy. Not to mention she's handled everything soooooo much better than I ever could have.
So, she had her u/s yesterday, which was fine, of course. But not too long after she lost her mucous plug, and quickly dialated from 3-4-5cm. The doctor decided her body was ready to go for it, & her water was broken about 7pm last night. This morning she was noted at 8cm & given the green light. At exactly 9:57am, Darren Graham was born to Mary & Brent!!! At 36 weeks, he was a huge 6lb 11oz and stayed away from NICU. (yay!)
I hope to see her tomorrow & get some pics. Needless to say, she was dead exhuasted today after an unexpected night of laboring and when we spoke, she could hardly waiit to eat ;).
