How can it almost be Christmas?
I still have a cold. Which sucks. A lot. Now it's mostly a stuffy nose and what not but geez, take a hint and go away. For good. D has now developed a cough so we are back on breathing treatments again. Oh the joy.
In other D news, he is now officially walking. Actually has been for a few days. He still prefers crawling to walking but he's getting much steadier with the walking so I predict that by Christmas he'll be fully walking all over the place. Oh boy. Not sure if I'm quite ready for that.
Work is insane and D isn't making that much easier. We are in the process of trying to find someone that can come in and watch D 3 days a week while I'm there. For about 4 hours each day. Hopefully that will ease things - especially when I have phone calls since he isn't the quietest child in the world. Speaking of that, D is now talking up a storm too. His main words are momma, da-da, uppie and ba for the butterflies that I have around the house. He is also obsessed with the Dominic the Donkey song. I guess he likes to hear his name or something. Very cute.
I have all of my actual Christmas shopping done but I still have a major craft project left to do. Hopefully it will be easier than I think and I can get it done in a few days. Hopefully.
