A Poem for Debbie our Student Teacher
i had my last day with my 3rd graders today...they made me a book, each kid illustrating the page with the line they wrote and wrote a message on the back...heres the poem (bc im obsessed with my kiddies)
Debbie is as helpful as a janitor and as cute as a dog.
Her smile is like a kind friend,
and as beautiful as a rose.
Her beauty is as radiant as the snow.
She is as lovely as a model,
as gorgeous as a wedding dress,
as smart as Albert Einstein,
as tall as a tree,
and as nice as family.
Her eyes sparkle as the stars,
and are as shiny as the summer sun.
Her hair is soft like a cat,
as soft as a nightgown freshly washed,
and shines like the sky.
She is as phenomenal a helper as a genius.
Debbie is as helpful as a doctor.
Debbie is as graceful as a ballerina.
Debbie is as generous as Santa Claus.
Debbie is as amazing as a field of flowers,
and as irreplacable silver dollar.
She is bright in her mind and as bright as the sun.
She looks 15 even though she says shes 20,
She is amazing and as good as any teacher,
