today was kinda crazy
i went to the rec office at 9 AM to pick up my drug test from, and my boss tells me that I have an interview in the management office at 920, so i need to fill out an application and take my resume (theyre usually really informal with all that, but a new company just bought stuy so my boss needs to fomalize some stuff.)
so he takes me over to the main office, introduces me and leaves. i talk to the woman for a while, who was nice enough. she told me that ive already been signed off on, and that I will be offered the position through them as long as my drug test comes back negative, and as long as they dont find anything when they do my FULL BACKGROUND search. she also asked me if i had any felonys, or anything else that may show up when they run my drivers licence...funny. im like i dont even have a drivers licence.
then she tells me i have 2 hrs to get my drug test and then when i get home i need to go back to the office with my SS card and my birth certificate. by the time i got to the place, waited, got the test, came home etc it was 245...so then i just did my laundro, talked to kathleen a little bit (hope you had success with your laptop) and chilled.
last night i watched save the last dance twice in a row (bc i was too lazy to change the channel before it was repeated. i also bought "definately maybe" which is an awesome cd and ive been blasting it all day.
o and i got 3 grades already, A in piano, A in gaelic, and a B in anthro, which makes me a little sad, bc its like the only one i didnt bs my way through. but its cool bc its 90 degrees, i have a summer job, and my NYC people are back where they belong...
