I stand alone!
So, we made it. Our little car delivered us with next to no problems. Sunday night we rolled in, Monday was all getting shit out of Dad's truck, and the rest of the week has been purely unpacking. And we're so close to being done too. Chris' friend Marc came over yesterday for a good visit, but I tried doing stuff while they watched movies and played Xbox still. I guess you never know what an amazing place this is unless you can see it firsthand. We are within a few minutes walk from an inlet and it is so amazing when you are down there at nighttime to see all of the citylights reflecting off of the river. Truely an amazing sight. Just looking down our street (which is angling down a hill) you can see the citylights as if you were driving down into them. I'm still so scared to go outside though because I don't know anywhere. I'm sure it's going to change soon though as I have to venture out to go for job interviews. I have everything I need within blocks of me though, so I'm set! And we got a good little house here too. New, clean, 2 bedrooms, enormous bathroom... It's very perfect for Chris and I. He seems finally happy too, to be back where he knows.
