sand dollar where are you?

i really like sand dollars
they're beautiful shells
i think i like them because they're hard to find
it wouldn't be as fun to have one if they simply sat all over the place
like i don't want a blade of grass
there are millions of blades of grass
but an unbroken sand dollar
it isn't impossible to find, but rather difficult
not a perfect shell
they're all a little different
but an unbroken one

my mom and i used to sing a song when we'd walk along stinson looking for sand dollars
it still works
