These past couple of days have gone really fast !

well christmas was good! got some cool stuff and what not and am getting really excited to go to new york! yay! hehe! i still need to give emily and kendra their gifts - but i will get it done before i leave hopefully. i have one week! only 1 week! crazy to think about - oh man! so last night was christmas dinner with the friends and that was cool. it was a good time as always. i love my friends and i really do miss them when i am at school. i mean i have way sweet and cool people at school, but there is just something about being from cedar falls and all that really makes someone just that much cooler :) hehe! so yeah today has been boring - my excitment was going to the dentist and other than that - i've just laid around and am really starting to get a bit bored. i wonder if i will actually have something to do tonight. the past couple of days i have been busy but i have a feeling that it is going to be a long night of watching tv alone at my house. oo well - i suppose that isn't sooo bad , except for the fact that i can't figure out how to get the subtitles for deaf people off of my tv and it is driving me crazy :) princess bride is on for the like 5th time in the past couple of days which makes me happy cuz i simply looove this movie :) yeah! i realized last night just how young i feel when i am at home - haha - i will explain -- when i am at school i am on campus and surrounded by college kids and work mainly with only with either kids who are younger than me or old ladies because there are only like 2 other college girls and they are both 21. so yeah - i feel like i fit in and like i am in college and i am old. but then for some reason when i come home and i feel young again. I feel young when i am hanging out with my friends because well - a lot of you kids are seniors and well cedar falls in general just makes me feel young. It's kind of fun :) my bedroom is sooo cold! it feels like i am outside :) i have to go out to breakfast with my grandma tomorrow morning at 9 and well that is going to be pretty interesting. I havn't seen her in a while and don't have a whole lot to talk to her about , but oo well, it will be ok. i officially have 1 goal to accomplish before i leave for NYC ( january 5th ) to learn the dance from napoleon dynamite :) everytime i see it i am reminded of it's coolness and of how much i want to be able to do that dance to that song - it will be amazing :) ! Ugh I am hungry! it's 3 and i have yet to eat anything today. hhmm..i think it's cuz i didn't get up until 10:45 and had to go to the dentist at 11:15 and so i didn't eat before and then i had novacaine (sp?) so i couldn't eat afterwards because I either would have bit my tounge or would have drooled all over. haha - that would have been quite a site to see :) yeah - haha! i really wanna see closer - i have heard some things about it and i have wanted to see it ever since the day i saw the first commercial for it and i think i would like it - hopefully i will get that done eithe before i go to new york or if not , then it will be playing in storm lake when i get back cuz they always get movies really really late and we can get movie tickets at school for cheaper than they are at the acutall theater. wow so this is a really lame post so i am going to go and try and find something to do - prolly won't happen - but at least i'm thinking positively :)

PS. I leave the 5th, get back to school on the 15th - stay there until the 17th or 18th - and then i come home again until the 26th! yay! :)
